Get an expert perspective on everything from CRA and tax issues to desperation borrowing to banking, the credit reporting system, mortgage lending and housing, and personal finance myth-busting. In my 15 years in the insolvency industry, I’ve met with thousands of indebted consumers and filed somewhere around 8,000 clients. I bring my previous background in sales, marketing and business development to making clients feel as comfortable as possible in guidance through various options and tactics, and in providing sound advice and solutions under difficult circumstances.
I am a regular author at Macleans and Canadian Business magazines and a listed columnist for Moneysense, focusing on consumer debt issues. I am a frequent media commentator, appearing regularly on BNN Bloomberg TV, CBC and various radio broadcasts. I have contributed to such publications as The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, The National Post and The Walrus, among others. I am also a guest on several popular personal finance podcasts & You Tube, and am a regular on the Hoyes Michalos Debt Free in 30 podcast.
I frequently guest-speak for a number of groups, associations, businesses and conferences.
